Clunking noise from the transmission when slowing down!

I have a 2024 Mustang GT with the 10 speed automatic that I really enjoy. However lately I am hearing a clunking noise when slowing down and the transmission is downshifting. It has less than 1800 miles on it. I will be taking it in to the dealer soon but I'm wondering if this is a common problem and what is causing this? I had a 2020 Mustang with the 10speed in it previously and never had this problem.

I get a nice POP from the exhaust when it’s downshifting (25 to 20 mph) and I’m coming to a complete stop!! I grin every time I hear it.

Ford Motor Company always reacts like this but does nothing. This is just to look good in the forums. They never did anything and they don't even reply when you need them to.

Just click on their account and look through all their comments.

Loose yoke or transmission mount

My 2024 also makes a clunk or popping noise as I am slowing down. I think it's the exhaust, and seems normal to me. I think it has someting to do with the performance exhaust exhaust

There is going to be some noise in the drivetrain. It depends on the severity.

I have the same problem with my 2024 Dark Horse. Driving me nutz
