I would think so if it was a special edition, say GT500 … but not an eco boost or GT

To me...the biggest problem is no longer the screens but how they are utilized... this looks horrible to me... either make the screens smaller or make the graphics larger... this makes it look like part of the screen is burned out...

This looks odd to me. My gauges are not that small or at least they don’t appear to be like yours are. Anyone else have the gauges this small??

If I could go 60 days back in time I would not purchase. Seems like Ford issues with UAW are affecting build quality and the dealers already have enough volume with the baseline build quality that the new issues can't really be dealt with / don't have enough time / experience to handle.

Two Fords prior back in the '90s and of those worked great. This is first new Ford. Owned everything from Honda to Aston Martin. Air conditioning failed in the first 3 hours. Dealer refilled it stating they probably forgot to fill it at the factory. Not very reassuring. Failed again 30 days later. They couldn't look at the car for a week. Then they couldn't find the leak for a week. Then they needed parts which took another few days. Clutch problems within the first 500 to 600 miles which of course the dealer "cannot duplicate." Despite going to two dealers on two different visits. Lug locks which were supposed to be installed at PDI sitting in the trunk which is a dealer issue. Hood was crooked as many others have experienced. Blown door speaker from the factory. Issues with the paint/seam sealing around the windshield that looks like it can cause a corrosion issue down the line but they don't want to fix anything now because it'll require pulling the windshield out... All this happened even before I made my first payment because these are all factory quality issues. And, of course, Ford customer service giving me the runaround.(The listed party that's responsible for the customer service issue was on vacation. Nobody else would take responsibility. People repeatedly giving me the wrong extension even by email. ) Same headaches with 2 different dealerships.

Even if the price was good and the financing was good, the lack of after sales support leaves me with such a bad taste in my mouth that not only will I never buy a Ford product again. I will go out of my way to make sure people know not to buy one. The defects are one thing but if you get them fixed quickly and get people back on the road that's fine. I'm lucky enough to own three different cars and just take something else. What's the point of a fun car if everything you get to do with it isn't fun?(Spending hours on the phone with Ford to get a live person, writing emails that don't get responded to, leaving messages for people that don't call back. Driving 30-40 minutes back and forth to the dealership to hear the same garbage again and again.)

yeah not 100% sure I would buy mine due to all the issues I have had with transport to me and the damage I am dealing with ( my own fault yes but still a factor) issues with the infotainment system is getting to be a total nuisance its happening every time I drive the car now.. 100% not happy with the gas mileage the eco boost should be getting way better than 12-13.9 miles in the city and I dont even accelerate hard.. not happy with no front parking sensor or camera that I am scared I am going to run over something... no actual backseat I really didnt pay attention to this till after I had gotten the car... also sometimes it feels like it has pep other times it feels slow as a normal 4 banger.....

Ouch. No such problems out of my base GT. However, the after sale support sucks badly. I have been fighting with the dealer, Ford Credit, and their customer relations department in MI. I bought the car in MO and got a great deal on an active exhaust base model. Around 41k. The sales manager put an extended warranty on the vehicle through Zurich (no, NOT FOMOCO, wtf?!) I told him with a witness that I do NOT want it. Nice enough guy, but still managed to stick in on there. I realized this after I got home. Nonetheless, im still fighting with them. No one can give me an answer. I am being hot potatoed almost daily. Today, I finally realized through being Sherlock Fn Holmes that the ambesyl that wrote the check, wrote it to the wrong place. Apparently, the check still got cashed and my account not credited. No one knows what the hell is going on. This is the short version. As of today, they are overnighting another check after asking multiple times for them to put stop payment and send the check in my name to me. Just absolutely moronic.

I ordered my manual S650 GT performance, active exhaust with 401A after I totalled my manual S550 GT performance with 401A do regret it, after driving 14k still don't feel right.

i'd be lying if i don't get a little buyers regret seeing a camaro ss 1le drive by. For some reason, those just look a little bit better to me than any S650. And I know they drive better too, but in my area they were all marked up extremely high over msrp due to chevy killing the camaro. Still love the dark horse i have, but if i had to redo it all over again, I might lean towards the SS 1le if someone was selling it for a good price.

I got a GT convertible with PP + Magnaride, AVE, NPP, 401A, race red. now that the fun of dropping the top has passed, I'm wishing I would have gotten the coupe fastback. Better handling, an actual PP rear spoiler (spoiler delete on the vert no option to add it back) and the cowl shake from one rough road trip has now created a rattling sound on the passenger side and windshield. Taking it to the dealer for warranty work but I'm seriously considering trading the car in for the coupe version. Biggest financial mistake of my life....

Any new car is a financial mistake. You just purchased, and most of us financed, a depreciating asset. Options and packages are just added cost to your purchase and somehow you convince yourself that you NEED them- driving up the price. I had a C7 I bought new that started to give me problems at 82k miles. Traded it for a certified used 2020 PP GT manual that ran great. Put 77k on it and I hydroplaned in a horrible rainstorm and totaled it. Bought a new 2023 2SS 1LE loaded. I didn’t drive it often and never tracked it but I loved that car. Still, I wasn’t satisfied. Then I found the special order GT with a Whipple kit that someone couldn’t get financed for. It was a job 1 car that sat on the lot for almost a year in the dealers showroom. I got a screaming deal on it and traded in my Camaro.

I would still be driving my 2020 GT had I not crashed. I’d probably still be ragging my C7 if it hadn’t started giving me issues. I love my new GT and the creature comforts like lane keep and adaptive cruise. The supercharger sealed the deal, but it still doesn’t feel like my other cars. The original plan was always to go C8 once the market softened, but they are so common now and I don’t get “excited” when I see one. So, do I regret my purchase? From a monetary perspective - yeah. From an excitement perspective- no way! But even if I had gone C8 like I originally planned, I would have monetarily regretted it. Worth every penny to me…

No car is perfect and no car will check all the boxes. Enjoy it while you have it and run ‘em till the wheels fall off. But know that you will always say you wished you’d gotten the performance pack, or race red, or a vert, or a Porsche, or a yacht instead. That’s just how marketing works and those desires and needs are what keeps our economy humming.

I do not regret buying my 2024 Eco-Boost Premium. Performance is more than adequate especially for the price I paid to obtain it. In order to get into the 3s to 60MPH, I would have had to cough up about $10K more for a GT. Plus, about 25% more for insurance, about 30% more for the extra quantity of fuel, to say nothing about the tire wear, speeding tickets, and a lack of noise abatement! Nope! I'm not sorry one little bit.

I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase of our 2024 GT 401-A, Atlas Blue with Active Exhaust, 486 Horses
I’ve had ZERO issues with this Mustang.
It’s runs very smooth and the Active Exhaust is well worth the money.
If I had to order again I might have added the Brakes for an extra $1800-$1900.
Then again maybe not?
The performance Package was considered but you had to order with the Summer Tires.
Kinda worthless in the Colorado High Country!
They are just fun to drive around and I think of every excuse to drive it.

Regrets? I really don't have any. That said, there are somethings I wish Ford had addressed, and I might have rued them until I actually found out how to make the 'best' use of them. Here's an example.

I think the Premium versions should have come with paddle shifters. When I first got my 2019 Ranger, it at least had a switch on the stick, so to speak. Once I hoped it up to the tune of ≈$5,000, it soon became apparent than paddle shifting wasn't all that wonderful! The Ford's tune not only addresses the power issues, but also alters the shifting patterns. I say patterns, because the 10R80 sports fuzzy logic. The 10R80's patterns in the Eco-Boost (at least) are really well designed. Once you understand where the shift points are in the various modes, you can make much better times letting the 10R80 do the shifting than you ever could using paddles! Drag mode allows the shift points right at the peak of the power curve, and so hard you'd think something failed! The 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shifts all cause wheel spin and a 'butt wiggle'! You'll also find out about the over boost scenario there offered only in Drag mode.

I'm an advocate of being friendly to one's neighbors. I don't blast around town like Roger Ramjet replete with open exhaust ports, and I don't indulge in the stop light derby scene either. All of my antics are done at the local drag strip where they should be (and legally be!) done.
