I just looked at the window sticker posted by a local dealer here for 2024 Mustang GT that they have on order. Looking at the blend date of May 9th I am guessing that it got into the Ford order production cue and the bottom date 7/04/23 is the actual production date and someone on the forum I think said it takes a week to make the vehicle. Bottom line can one assume that the dealer will have the car on the lot by end of July?

It was likely not blended on 0509 and the date at the bottom is simply the date it was pulled and viewed. For example; this window sticker had a blend of 0511 but the order wasn't submitted for production until 0522. I pulled the window sticker today so it shows 7/14 at the bottom. I can tell you for a fact it was produced on 06/07 so some of these early orders have blends that aren't necessarily accurate. the OKTB for mustang hasn't been announced yet so everything is still sitting at the plant without a true ETA. You can likely expect dealer stock in August/September.

They'll probably discuss current obstacles that are preventing the OKTB date. Most likely won't have an OKTB date for a while.
That seems counter productive if that’s they case. They have been building cars for a substantial period of time. In all likelihood issues that you’re referencing have been ironed out and discussed at length internally.

This by the way people are posting sounds like a final once over before to let OKTB happen. Especially given that we know media drives are taking place in July. This means the cars being reviewed are production models why would ford leave journalists review said models with issues still holding up their sale? That’s just asking for bad press.

Rumor. We don't actually know that.
Both stangmode and throttle house have stated it’s July just not the date. However, you are right in the sense that it may have changed.

I’m thinking about this from my own industry perspective where meetings like that generally are set with the intent to approve something not deny.

The date on the bottom is the date the window sticker was last retrieved from the system. The date at the top is approximately when it was supposed to hit the production line.

Basically this car was likely produced weeks ago an is just sitting at the factory waiting to be released.

Lmao! Everything on here is an assumption, nobody knows anything concrete. Wishful thinking at best. 😂

No, the date on the bottom is the date user pulled it up to look at it. Try it with your own, you’ll see the date will reflect the day you look at it, nothing more.

So the funny thing, when I went to Ford and checked status, my picture has changed to actual what I bought instead of standard picture that was on there. Then dealer texted me that ETA is now 7/20, instead of the range 7/17-7/23, however still hasn’t left. So something is changing but could be another Groundhog Day too.

That's what I was saying, the last time it was pulled to look at.
Sorry man, I meant to reply to the same user as you. You’re correct.

Don’t wanna burst your bubble but the pictures have been coming in and out on the tracker and don’t mean anything and the range is what ford chat gives you and the actual date the dealer gets. Did your dealer tell you a range? Cause they usually don’t get that just a date. Those dates are the same as mine but I’m holding my breath
