NYIAS: Dark Horse Mustang (Blue Ember) & Engine Bay FIRST Look + 2024 Mustang GT Convertible

Thanks for the pictures! There is the silver dark horse badge again.... is it black or silver on the production car?! And the wheels look like a lighter color than the white car as well. Guess we will find out.

Also blue ember is only available on the 700A, and these arent recaros, so these are the 700A dark horse seats, the best pictures we have seen.

Yes, most clear 700A seat pics for sure. Many thanks to photographer (Jarstang?). I'm dying to see blue ember in full sunlight. That's another elusive pic.

Looks great in person under the lights. From @Topnotch's outdoor photos, it definitely loses some of its luster on this dreary day in NYC. Good nice weather color IMO.

Now that I see the non-Recaro seats, I’m wondering if I should have gone that route! Recaro seats are crazy awesome looking, but the others are way better than the horrible concoction my mind created when Ford didn’t give us any details. Add the heated/cooled feature, increased comfort, and the greater ease of ingress/egress and I’m wondering if I ask to change my order from Recaro seats to these. I do engage in spirited driving on country roads, but don’t know about the track. Decisions.

I know it can be a hard decision. I dont like the bolsters on the Recaro's. They are uncomfortable to me. I know the regular seats will have some bolstering so that will suit me fine. That combined with the heated/cooled/power was a no brainer. I do not plan to track the car anyway. I think the Recaro's look good though! Good luck on your decision. I think you can change anything until you have a VIN and then maybe even after until your vehicle is in production.

Unfortunately, there were no Dark Horse press rides being held at the Javitz Center. They were being done offsite at another location organized by the Manhattan Car Club, not through Ford directly. We were told it was invite-only with very limited spaces.

Edit: actually...it may be the 700A that adds the color, noticed the 600A is the one with black seats. May want to trade for 600A Recaros myself.
