It looks like it copied way too many elements from better looking cars like rearend from Audi A7, headlights from VW Arteon on a Mach-E frontend

Tough to embrace a luxury sedan that clearly has its roots in a FWD architecture.

Another reason its a tragedy Ford are effectively abandoning the CD6 architecture. A big Lincoln sedan with RWD proportions could have been a winner. All that development just for Explorer/Aviator :(

All the talk of 4-door Mustangs (no, not Mach E)......I just don't see how Ford can do that using the existing S550/S650/D2C architecture.

Serious question, why would anyone choose to build out a Lincoln MKZ of all things?

Serious question, why would anyone choose to build out a Lincoln MKZ of all things?
To make Model 3 owners run back to the dealer (errr......I mean wherever those thing get serviced) wondering why they can't shake this ugly looking 4 door Lincoln?

We can agree to disagree. My issue with the mkz is it was one of those designs where the front and back never flowed well together. More specific, the front took on this softer, more refined form, and the back was sharper and more agressive. The zephyr is consistent all the way around.

I think we agree on looks, I was just talking stock performance and the apparant potential with some fairly "minimal" bolt ons. Not too many Fords doing 0-60 in the 3's with summer tires on the street (no prep). I've tried to get in the 3's (using Dragy) with my S197 auto that runs 10.7's @ 130. Even doing a mild burnout on 305 MT DR's, it will not do it on the street.

Does not really matter I guess, as Ford is done with sedans in the USA (at least until they do a 4 door S650, UGH!!).
