As a BMW tech, on any given day, probably close to half of my work is recalls. They seem to have exponentially exploded ever since the Toyota floor mat thing. It’s industry wide.

There may still be a little in there but hopefully not enough to still see it on the next oil service.

The ceretec bottle does suggest that mixture ratio. However, I am of the school of thought that as little as necessary is the better answer. If zero ceretec is ok, it can’t be bad to only add 1/3 bottle if that takes care of the tick.

Ceratec will absolutely make the oil look like that. Don’t overthink this.

That looks like it would be the recirculation flap. When it opens and closes, it causes air from outside or inside the car to be “sucked” into the blower.

I don’t really count the GTD- most people will see one about as often as the most recent Ford GT.

My wager that I’m willing to bet zero dollars on is a two seater called Mustang cobra. A smaller car with some S650 styling cues to compete with BRZ type cars. Could just be my eyes, but trying to compare profiles of that teaser and current and previous mustangs seems to look like there is no...

It doesn’t void the warranty. It says damage caused by track use is not covered. Thats a big difference.

Better check on the door in the matching location, could be damage there also.

Is the auto start stop on the manual?

Doesn’t matter, just has to be inside the car for it to start. I mean, do what you want - it’s your car. Just wanted to point out out something that may have been overlooked.

So if someone smashed the window, they now have your key and can drive away?

When you lock the keys in the car with the number pad, does it disable them?

Might have a hard time explaining to the insurance company…
