Has anyone gotten a better deal than the X-Plan pricing? I was wondering if anyone was able to negotiate a lower price - below the X-Plan price or is the X-Plan price as low as a dealer will go...
A few folks here have gotten a little lower than X-plan but not much. I got x-plan and with the rebates of $2250, I saved a total of $5400 off of sticker. My sticker was $46k.

What were the rebates you received? Were these specific to the dealer you bought from? Thanks much!

I got 3 rebates:

Dream Big - $500
EAA - $750
Conquest (leasing a current competitors car) - $1000

Use this site to find all the rebates for your area/zip code.

Does anyone know if x-plan pricing is applied to other products? I am planning to have a Ford Racing Touring Cat-Back Exhaust installed by the dealer where I buy my new Mustang. Was wondering if I might get a break on pricing for this exhaust... Thanks much!

I joined MCA to get the PIN but never used it. I told my dealer I had done so then negotiated. I got my Mustang that was $35215 X plan ($37320 MSRP) for $34271 all inclusive except taxes and before my trade value of ~$6800 without a PIN. Just over $29000 out the door or around $525/mth 60 months just over 2% interest.

Did you get your financing through Ford on your own at a financial institution?

Can anyone else tell me why X-Plan pricing is over invoice. I was using Edmunds.com for invoice pricing, but it seems the MSRP has gone up on the model I want by $200 so I'm assuming the invoice has as well? even at Edmunds current invoice pricing the X-plan i'm getting from dealers to include the build your own on ford.com with X-plan entered is about $1000 more.

This has been talked about in another thread (friends and family). My car has gone up $120, some others have stated that theirs went up $200. I assume it could be because of the popularity or a new (calendar) year.

X Plan rules state that you are locked in on the price of the vehicle at the time you place your order. Ford reimburses the dealer in the event of any price increase.

I ended up with $1200 under invoice, so I didn't need the xplan.

Are there any secrets you can share about how you negotiated this much under invoice? Seems like a very good price, particularly since the '15 Mustang is in high demand. Thanks!!

I contacted 11 dealerships and played them off each other all over email. I visited 3 to test drive the cars but all negotiations were over email in the comfort of my home

Very cool. I have identified seven dealers and was planning to do the same thing. I'm surprised that they were willing to be that competitive. I hope I have the same success. Thanks!

Did you include any add-on products is your request for pricing? I am planning to ask them to include the installed Ford Racing Tour Cat-Back exhaust in their pricing. I thought I might get it a bit cheaper by packaging it with the car purchase.
