WIX WA11361 Air Filter

Does anyone know anything about the WIX WA11361 air filter for the S650 5.0? Has anyone purchased them? It appears to have better filtration than the OE filter and claims to be water resistant which would come in handy for doing the grill mod. It is more than 2X cost of motocraft so I was wondering if it is worth it. I am not interested in anything that trades filtration for airflow.

I went right back to the Motorcraft ones, pricey but had no reason to alter.

I realize this an old thread post. But will this filter work or not ? I've found conflicting information on these.. any information would be appreciated..thank you for reading

Yeah, it's the correct filter for a s650 GT/Dark Horse.

FYI Motorcraft is the Wix filter. If you want to pay double for the Wix brand and exact same filter go ahead.

So it is exactly the same then? Good to know as i was researching air filters and filtration quality not just increased flow...
