Mustang in the garage for sure. Either that or pay to store the mustang somewhere else.

When I lived in NJ the mustang sat in the driveway. Only drove it in the winter when the salt was off the roads. It survived.

I’m with everyone, park it in the garage. When I lived in Northern Calif. I lived in a rural area and parked my cars outside. I had a rat chew through some wires and the front bumper cover. I was told the plastic coating on the wires were vegetable oil based and rodents are drawn to it. As far as the bumper cover I think it didn’t like the wife’s Toyota Prius. 😉

Also might need one of these to curtail rodent issue in the garage.

I guess it all depends on how you feel about the car. Some people put winter tires on them and drive them all winter. What are your thoughts on treating the car as a daily driver or a show queen? Are you keeping the car pristine for the next owner? Many 24 Mustangs in the northeast were shipped to dealers in September 23 and sat in dealer lots until they were sold in the Spring/Summer 2024-time frame. They made it through many snowstorms, freezing rain and survived without a cover.
Convertibles aren't as forgiving.
I would seriously search for a storage facility. I used a lady's garage since she went to South Carolina every winter. I paid her and she was happy to get the extra cash. You have a $50K Plus investment so a few dollars towards storage would be appropriate. I hear rodents love the new wiring in vehicles since the coating is made with soybeans. I went through a few years of parking my truck outside since our house had a one-car garage and the wife's work car got the garage. It wasn't fun scrapping the truck at 6:30 A.M. This was before heated seats and steering wheel. Thankfully, I'm retired with a two-car garage and two vehicles.
Take it from an old guy, start to look for storage tomorrow. BTW, it costs to have fun.
