You have a picture of your rear tint?i used to have 35% front windows and i think it was 15% on my rear quarter and rear windows. i then decided not too long ago to go darker, so the rear quarter and rear windows are now 5%. i also got my windshield tinted 55%, but a day after that was done, a rock got kicked up and i had to replace my windshield. i have not driven at night yet, but rear visibility isnt a huge priority because i plan to install a digital rear view mirror
remember that its likely brighter where i live because i live in a desert. temp at this moment is about 100 F with a UV index of 11You have a picture of your rear tint?
We share the same car color, so would like to see how that looks from the back.
Let's have a brighter contest. I'm in the caribbean and it's smoking hot and sunnyremember that its likely brighter where i live because i live in a desert. temp at this moment is about 100 F with a UV index of 11

But thanks for the pic. Im now sure I want 5% for the rear.
Lucky you guys. I'm from a country where you can't even fart without permission. On a side note, us in NC will no longer have to worry about tint (hopefully) in the next year. Theres a bill on the block right now to remove tint check from inspections.
Will removing it from inspections also remove it from being pulled over and ticketed? On a side note, us in NC will no longer have to worry about tint (hopefully) in the next year. Theres a bill on the block right now to remove tint check from inspections.
In Texas last year was the final year for inspections for vehicle registration renewals, only commercial vehicles, so there won't be any need for tint inspections other than traffic stops. On a side note, us in NC will no longer have to worry about tint (hopefully) in the next year. I wish I had that answer, the bill that I saw referred only to inspections. I don't think cops will ever pull you over for tint though, save for those who black out their windshield. Will removing it from inspections also remove it from being pulled over and ticketed?
