Starting again…. Just installed at a local reputable garage a set of Steeda products, including front g-trac braces, rear irs alignment kit, IRS branches and lowering progressive springs.
When I went to pick up the car I noticed a noise when I pressed the break pedal. Comes from the front with the car both on and off. It sounds a bit like an air pump. Mechanic says it’s probably the break hydraulic system. They kept the car. Anyone had similar issues/ has an advice? Thanks!

Can you make and load a video? I think it would be beneficial in having people confirm if normal and nothing to worry about....

Some owners have complained of a whooshing noise on application of the brakes... I believe one even got a lemon buy back because of it. These did not involve installation of aftermarket parts AFAIK.

Thanks but I had no noise before, has to be linked to the upgrades. Car is at the repair shop unfortunately can’t make a video of the sound now (but will if they can’t fix it).

You had work done involving the suspension and removal of the tires.

Speculating, I suspect they failed to re-connect a line, nicked a hose, missed a connector or something.

They took it back. That's cool. They're re-checking their work. Hopefully, they'll gift it back to you soon.

If you find out what it was, let us know. It could be something we often don't think of, but should be aware of.

Quick update, the repair shop checked for:
. Loose or missed reconnection
. Damaged or stressed hose
. Pump mounting
None of it were the issue.
They are taking the car to a Ford dealership to see if they can find what the issue is…

Keep us updated as a sound like this after install isn't something we have been asked to diagnose. Happy to help if you email me at [email protected] - I can have our lead tech look for some common issues.
