Get behind the wheel of the Ford Mustang® GTD as it returns to the Nürburgring, clocks a 6:52:072 lap and takes its spot as the fourth-fastest production sports car to complete a sub-7-minute circuit. Breaking seven minutes at the Nürburgring is elite-level speed, with only five production sports cars ever achieving it.

Just for comparison, I'd like to see Misha Charoudin go a lap. Doing between 500-1000 laps per year he might be able to shave a few seconds. I read somewhere he did 1000 laps in 300 different cars in 2024.

I would rather have Frank Stippler.

I would rather see me doing it. In my dreams at least.
Well if I win a race to drive that car you can have my spot. I don't like built race cars, no back seats, too large spoiler, roll cages, and all the other nice interior that they removed to make the car lighter.

I like luxury cars that are fast.

That would be interesting for sure. Misha is probably as familiar with this track as anyone can be. I'm not convinced as good as Misha is that he could beat Dirk's lap time. Nonetheless, I would love to see him try because you never know until you know.

Misha strikes me as the kind of driver who would crash trying to beat this lap time. He has skill, but he takes a lot of risk, and has crashed on several occasions at the ring.
