Mustang GTD goes back to the Nürburgring, and does it in 6:52.072

According to a few sources, Ford brought the Mustang GTD to the Nürburgring again to beat their time, and they did by about 5.5 seconds! this means that it now has the 9th fastest lap time, behind the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, and above the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series

The only thing that ruins this achievement is the price. If the Huracan Performante is the cheaper car it doesn't really add up. They could at least gave the GTD a more premium interieur for the money

the base price of the Huracan Performante was ~$281k in 2017, which is about $367k today. gotta agree about the interior, though. they could've at least made all the fake carbon fiber real
