Watch out for fake companies made with AI

I saw this video on Instagram and at first I was like, wow, that's a nice thing to have.

They advertise with different cars to attract car lovers from all famous brands.

But then I looked deeper into it.

- the website has fake claimed reviews
- there is nothing known about the company through all open sourses
- the price for that thing was way too cheap at 200 USD

And it got even worse. I looked at the video again and it's off. The rear looks like the S650 in yhe beginning and at the end of the video it magically changes to the S550. Also the front of the car changed to an S550.

They also had a video of another brand. They grabbed it from the package and it looked very small. Once on the wall, the car got twice as big.

The longer you look at the video's the more things you will notice.

I can totally understand that people get blinded by the 200 USD price and go straight to the order basket to pay.

I've run across a few similar ones... prices too good to be true, showing in stock items when everyone including mfg. are on back order... as always buyer beware!

I see a lot of video ads that I'm about 95% sure are AI generated, but I can't point to any one thing that makes me think so. They're just "off" and it scares me how good they are getting.

When buying stuff, use common sense, always use a credit card, never a debit card or payment service like Venmo where you can't get your money back, and if there is any doubt, call the seller! Yes, use the phone, talk to a real person. Seller is in China, you say, and you don't speak mandarin? Well then, take a pass, buy American!
