Wow how gullible are you? Oh I guess where your from you trust everybody. Look at your immigration department.

Get a grip - no idea what politics have got to do with the typewriter tick.

If it was a problem there would be broken Coyotes everywhere - and there aren't.

I use Amsoil Signature Series 5w-30 and I can report that it still does the typewriter tick with it. I have tested many motor oils over the years with every Coyote I have had and oil brand did not matter. It does only do it when the car is at operating temp and typically right after I've been aggressively driving or cruising the interstate at higher speeds for a while. Still never had any issues because of it. Doesn't bother me personally any more.
Interesting, yeah I'm just tired of ppl asking "what's that tick"... lol such an odd thing to have to deal with. Like I have to explain oh no, "Ford" says it's normal.

There has to be something in the original factory oil that you don't get after the first oil change and short of a class action or 50,000 write-ins or some big youtuber calling it out, I don't think Ford will tell us.

If you have the tick what is your warm idle oil pressure?

If you don't have the tick, what is your warm idle oil pressure.

Like full operational temp, like drive for 5-10 miles get it hot, what is your idle oil pressure.

Since my first GT purchase is still pending the right deal, I have not heard the tick. Something noticable with the hood closed -- OR -- masked by the exhaust till the hood is opened? Just curious.
