The title of my post is an old Three Stooges line, but it describes my ordering process with my incoming GT. Back in October, I placed an order for a 2025 GT, Grabber Blue, manual (of course), Performance Package, Magneride, and such. I ordered then, figuring that it would be 5-6 months to get it.
I was fine with the timeline. Truthfully, I didn't want to see it till March or April. Moreover, I store my BMW 340 December-February, and take it off insurance, other than comprehensive (God forbid that my garage burns down).
I received a call today from the dealer (Central PA), informing me that the car was at the dealer. Just three months!
Given the horrible January weather here, I'm going to try to put them off a few weeks for delivery, in hopes of a day that is at least above freezing. Both the Bimmer and the GT wear summer tires.
Go figure! Anyone else have a similar surprise?
