Trafeo tires - replaced at what mileage?

At what mileage has everyone had to replace the Trafeo's on your DH? Just Curious?

I replaced mine at 1300 miles.
Not because I had to just yet, but I knew they were going to wear out pretty quick.
I also have 1.5 miles of gravel between home and the nearest pavement and the trofeo's pickup, and throw, rocks like crazy!

These were taken off my buddies car at just over 4,500 miles. I managed to get 8,000 out of the Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires on my 2018 GT PP2. But he put a few more spin miles on these.

I didn't wear out the tread, my Trofeos lost adhesion, but had plenty of tread left. Bought in July, just outside Waco, the ride home was 105-106F. Not many days that hot that summer, but enough close to it. Didn't see high 80's for a high temp until about first week of October. Saw 80's all the way through Thanksgiving and it slowly dropped from there.
From July to October I drove it pretty regularly on the street, putting about 1800 miles on them. This is about where I began to notice some extra stopping distance, but more importantly _any_ throttle while turning was a slide, and I mean all the way down to about 10mph. I was on an interstate passing a truck, I didn't quite floor it but close. I spun at 60mph, ambient temp was 85-ish F, no recent or current rain. That was about 2200 miles and that's when I knew they were cooked.

I babied them another few hundred miles, replacing them about 3300 miles all in with Michelin PS4S.

I've had nothing but fantastic results running the Michelin PS4S tires on cars I have. I was a bit disappointed when I found that Ford put the Pirellis on the DH. When my Pirellis are cooked I'll definitely go back to Michelins.

That's what I did. PS4S work just as good as the Trofeos on the street and I noticed a bit less tramlining after switching.

The Pirelli PZ4's are very different to the older Pirellis - much improved.

Thanks for the responses. I have a set of Michelins in the garage that will be going on in the next few weeks. I currently have 4100 mile's. I guess I’m in the ball park.

but I should have replaced them at 6000.

That included only one track day, so if you track frequently you will probably cook them in 4-5 days.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on the wheels now. Same size is actually larger, but no rubbing. For the more sane driving on the street (as compared to the track) the PS4S tires are great. I'll want grippier tires for the track, but this time I am not going to drive them on the street. I'll use the PS4S for the street and something more track oriented for the track.
