Maybe your driving conditions different than mine. Only 4,500 miles.
Yikes. I would not agree to with that at all.

Luckily mine is a garage queen toy in Texas. Not a daily driver.
Living in the MetroPlex myself, I too went with the Continental Extreme Contact Sport O2's and I love them. It is my daily driver and these have traction for days and I have had zero issues with them in rain or any sort of driving around the MetroPlex.

Taking delivery of my ‘25 GT 301A PP on Saturday.

My tire of choice has been the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Season for its grip, ride quality, low noise and looooong tread life.

Anyone using these on the RDW Mustang platform? My previous cars were AWD…

OK. Apparently I have to be more specific:

what are your thoughts on them? Positive, Negative, etc etc.

🤦

thanks!
I have a 24 dark horse. Came with Trefeo tires but they didn't last long. I replaced them with the 4s and regret it. I find they are noisier and the traction isn't even close to the trefeos even on hot pavement. Personally I would not but them again.

Yesterday I did some comparison and I decided to change my tires to all season tires.

Continental AllSeasonContact 2

They scored one of the highest all season tires in Germany.

They ride nice, but I found the steering is way more vague on those Continentals.

If you go to tire rack and compare reviews between the PS4 and procontact RX, the Michelin wins in every category-

PS4 left, Continental right

Actually, I’m headed to Colorado later this week to drop my son off for his freshman year at the university. I’m renting one of the 7G mustangs just for fun. It will be interesting to compare the two, though EcoBoost to Shelby is a bit of a stretch..
You drive that Shelby, coming from an Ecoboost, your mind will be blown! Enjoy!

Serious question here: Did you seriously expect a 300 tread wear rating street tire with deep tread rain grooves to have traction on hot pavement even close to what Pirelli rates as a 180 tread wear tire (they did not even try to match it up with the 200 tread wear track only tires, but rated it worse) with a bare minimum of 6/32 of an inch of tread depth when new?

I really, really like the Trofeo RS tires, but some of the tradeoffs for driving on the street - I mean, if it is pouring rain the tire is simply not safe to drive if there is any standing water whatsoever. And it throws so much gravel up under the car, because the tires are like bubble gum once you have been driving for a bit.

Yes, they grip. They are responsible for a lot of the way this car stops and turns. That makes the Dark Horse very fun to drive on sunny summer days.

But they are designed for stopping and turning while hot on dry pavement and little else.

6/32 is less than a quarter inch . . . it is 3/16" if you want to peek at a ruler quickly for reference

Very few tires even come close to the grip of those...

I think he is going the other way...

I am very pleased with the Contis that came on my 2025 GT. Conti PRO CONTACT RX. Very comparable to the PS4 so far.
Mine also came with the same Conti Pro Contact RX tires. I think they work great. Wet or dry they grip very well. I only have 2,800 miles on them, so can't comment on longevity. They are very quiet! I would definetly recommend them! I haven't had the Michelin tires, so can't comment. Glenn
