If you order from the auto shifter page, buying the knob without the $80 adapter is not possible. I asked Billetworkz what the workaround is, and they said the manual knobs are the exact same threads as the auto.

With the sale, you can get some cool extra knobs for $30 less if you order from the non-custom page. I couldn’t resist buying more.

I like it a lot. Go with the sphere shape. Easy to reach the release with your fingers. Also, their caution about not having the adapter pushing down on the release mechanism is important.
That's the same one I want! It looks great! Glenn

Yes, very important! With the anodized knob it’s easy to feel the collar touching the top of the lever underneath. Just lock in the adapter lightly on top or even a fraction of an inch above it.

The grub screws are high quality and deep so you can tighten them good without worrying about stripping.

I can’t stand the factory shifter with the automatic transmission in the Mustang’s. I changed out the one in my older S550 Mustang so I decided today I’m going to change the shift knob in my new one. I’m not only changing the knob, but also the bezel around it to make it look more like a stick shift. It’s kind of poser, but I like the look a lot better. I went with the billetzworkz shifter, and I am not sure if I like the black or not. The last one I got was silver and I wish I could find one with a brushed silver. Still, I think it looks a lot better after. I went with red to match the calipers.

I changed my out as well I went with a manual shift look and the ball on the shifter matches the blue stitching in the sears
Where did you get the bezel? I swapped my stock auto shifter to a Hurst pistel grip but want to swap it for one like yours with a white ball.

I got mine from Levittown Ford.
My part number was #PR3Z-7277-DA
DA specifies the Race Red stitching.

Copied from an earlier post, but double check to ensure the correct stitching color:
These are all the manual Shift Boot/Trim piece that will not have the PRNDM
you just need to match the stitching to your interior
PR3Z-7277-CB (Gallery Gray Stich)
PR3Z-7277-BA (Metal Gray Stitch) California Special edition
PR3Z-7277-DA (Race Red Stitch)
PR3Z-7277-FA (Indigo Stitch) Dark Horse?
PR3Z-7277-AA (Black Stitch)

Where did you get the bezel? I swapped my stock auto shifter to a Hurst pistel grip but want to swap it for one like yours with a white ball.
