Theyāre pretty great! That is my go to shop for stuff I either canāt do or donāt have the tools to do the job for. Havenāt had any issues and Iām very picky on who I let work on my car.
Your car looks great! What front splitter are you using or have installed?Hey everyone! Thought Iād post a review that could help people going forward for a more street friendly setup on their S650 along with some pictures of how the car currently sits. First off I have a base 300A 2024 GT. Only options are the 10speed, and NPP.
Suspension Set Up:
-Ford Performance Street Lowering Springs
-Ford Performance Strut Tower Brace
-Ford Performance Track Sway Bars
-Ford Performance Camber Plates
-Ford Performance Rear Toe Link Kit
-Steeda Pro Action Non Adjustable Shocks and Struts
-Steeda IRS Subframe Alignment Kit
-Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support Kit
Wheels:
SVE SP2 19x10, 19x11
Tires:
Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02ās in 285/35/19, and 305/35/19.
After having this completed (to me) set up for maybe a month already I can say from stock, to just springs, to what I have now is wow! The car has a less bouncy/floaty feel. It feels way more planted than before. The ride is a bit more harsher but itās not bad whether you drive the car as a daily or weekend driver. Now when it comes to driving spiritedly and on the twists and turns the car handles amazing, thereās hardly any body roll and I feel like I can actually keep my speed on turns without feeling like Iām about to lose control. The FP sway bars are adjustable and they only have 2 settings/holes which is stiff and soft. I have mine on soft for both and even then it still feels great when pushing the car. Havenāt tried it on the stiffest setting or messed around with different set ups to see how it changes the way the car feels and handles but so far I am loving this set up. It isnāt too much but just enough to where if I want to take it every once in a while to the track I am sure the car will do well. I figured Iād post this for those who would rather have a street friendly set up without doing too much or get inspiration from it. I made this somewhat based off what Ford offered for a street handling kit on the S550 but I did add a few things to it. Any questions ask away!

I personally haven't used them but have heard positive things from other Mustang owners.
I bought it off Amazon man. Itās the same one from W2Body Kits but cheaper, and easier to return or replace if you have issues. I bought both to see the difference and returned the W2 one when I saw it was the same cheap Chinese stuff. Does the job until thereās a better front splitter that isnāt carbon fiber and isnāt too big or aggressiveYour car looks great! What front splitter are you using or have installed?
Yes sir! I took my car to Precision for my alignment. Chris is the guy! I didnāt have a great experience with DSG recently but theyāre another trusted shop for sure. Might give them a chance again in the future but for now stang is done.I personally haven't used them but have heard positive things from other Mustang owners.
Two other good options in DFW are DSG Performance and Precision Alignment and Auto . Precision can do the alignment after installing suspension parts, and he (Chris) knows what he's doing.
Most of it is compatible with both, if not all of it. The only one that maybe is S650 specifically were the springs but even those ford has them as fitting 15-26. Part numbers are the same on the springs minus the rear isolators. If you want something more specific to the S650 the Ford Track springs would be it.A question on parts if tou dont mind?
What was s550 vs s650 specific? This pretty close to what i was looking at setup wise but am unclear on s550/650 parts compatiblity
I have the Ford Performance camber plates on mine but you donāt really need them, but I do recommend them just in case and also rather pay once cry once. As far as the rear toe links I replaced mine with the FP ones as well which are the same ones on the PP mustangs. You donāt need any adjustable ones for the rear, it has plenty adjustment unless you want excessive camber or something like that. LolMade an account just to ask this after I saw your review on the ford lowering springs and went looking for a post like this lol. Iām looking to get rid of my sr performance springs and am gonna get the fp street ones you have and figured Iād get the steeda shocks and struts while Iām at it. Do I need the camber plates and rear toe links you got or am I good without them? Iāll be running the exact same wheel and tire sizes as you as well if that help's
Does adding the shocks and struts and new springs affect all the alignments? I know the shop had an alignment done when I got the other ones done but if it changes camber and all that I guess Iāll have to, at the very least get it checked. I also never saw the specs sheet of the alignments so I have no idea what itās sitting at right nowI have the Ford Performance camber plates on mine but you donāt really need them, but I do recommend them just in case and also rather pay once cry once. It will affect alignment and highly recommended to get it done especially if youāre taking apart, shocks, struts, springs. Iāve had mine taken apart multiple times and needed alignment always. Also they should be giving you your alignment sheet when they do it so you can see what it was before and after.Does adding the shocks and struts and new springs affect all the alignments? Gotcha, guess Iāll bite the bullet and get some camber plates while Iām at it. I still have much to learn itās my first time doing anything like this.It will affect alignment and highly recommended to get it done especially if youāre taking apart, shocks, struts, springs. I understand man! I recommend it cause Iāve changed my suspension stuff so many times and I agree when people say to spend it now all at once instead of doing it over and over. It adds up. Also why I share my experiences so people can make their own opinions and see what they decide to do. If you go camber plates I recommend the ford ones personally.Gotcha, guess Iāll bite the bullet and get some camber plates while Iām at it.
