I wanted to do a write up for those in the suspension market and also plug the shop who did the work as they did great.

The Car- My car received Ford Performance Track Springs, Steeda Camber Plates, and the Steeda IRS Alignment Kit. The car has been lowered for 5 days and I have put almost 200 miles on the car driving in different places and speeds. Overall the change that I was expecting for everyday driving isn’t much different at all. The ride itself is a little more “bouncy” and that’s me scrambling for things to say. I expected some sort of harsh bare bones driving experience and I’m delighted to say I feel none of that. The car feels tighter and overall more connected to the road. I could only imagine with some track driving those feelings would just get stronger. Some threads notated hearing a clunk from the rear springs due to the rear springs hitting one another but I have not heard any of that. I did order the silencers that were recommended and others have used with good success. Steeda does sell them.

The Shop- I can't recommend 4Low Concepts in Houston,Texas enough. I made the 1hr 30 min drive because after calling 4-5 shops I landed on them after looking at reviews. If any of you are like me and are picky about who touches your vehicle then I can assure you this shop gets a 10/10. The initial phone call went great they got me scheduled and accommodated me when I had to reschedule because I received the wrong springs from American Muscle and ended up ordering the correct springs through LMR. The price for the work they did was very fair and I got sent photos and updates throughout the entire process. At the time of this post almost 5 stars and nearly 400 reviews on google and I can see why. When I arrived at the shop they were welcoming and explained everything to me then answered any questions I had. My main concerns were around the steeda alignment kit as I had just put wider wheels on the car and you could glaringly see how off center my subframe was. They already knew what I was referring to and told me they do tons of mustangs. My alignment is in spec and the car looks and drives great and I have 4 low concepts to thank for that.

The Parts- I initially ordered the springs from American muscle but I quickly sent them back as they are listed to work with 2024+ mustangs but the part number doesn't match and they didn't even come with the rear isolators. This led me to believe something wasn't right. I did inform American Muscle of the issue. The correct part number is MPN# M-5300-S65T if you go to american muscle you will notice their part number is different and you won't see any rear isolators. The steeda camber plates and IRS alignment kit are both good quality and the part numbers are MPN# 555-8139 and MPN: 555-4438. The silencers are possibly not necessary but for the cheap price on steeda's site I opted to grab them the part number is MPN: SPR02-H2187.

The Photos- I am still in awe of how good the car looks. More mods to come but so far I still laugh like a kid when I see it.

This is good information and what i am aiming for. I overdid it on the last one. Your setup is perfect
Your car looks beautiful. Are those 19’s or 20’s? Also is the alignment kid and camber plates needed or can I get away with just the lowering springs? How is the ride quality compared to stock? I have the PP package and find the ride perfect for me, so not looking for more aggressive handling, just that subtle lowered look. Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much. They are 19x10’s 285/35/19. The alignment kit from Steeda is definitely needed. Camber plates due to the minimal drop of 1inch is personally up to you. I opted to get them because I’d rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. The shop you choose will already be right there so I’d say get them. But are they 100% necessary? Probably not. The ride to stock is almost the same. The car feels a lot more planted and hugs the road to me. Which would make sense as the center of gravity is better. I can’t recommend them enough. The shop I used recommended the maximum Motorsports caster camber plates over Steeda. So I may be switching to those soon but overall I enjoy the car so much more.

I did go with the Ford Performance Track kit. Love it and it’s definitely not too harsh. GTs should come with these factory
