Anyone have thoughts/feels on using the stage 2 whipple tune with the stage 1->2 upgrade kit, versus going with a tune from say PBD or Wengerd?
Upgrade parts look like: 112mm TB, 3.75 6 rib griptec pulley (might not need griptec for my application), CF intake tube, lethal/kooks 1.75" headers and offroad pipes.
No need for cats here. Mostly doing highway pulls in mexico or drag strip, then lots of cruising or stop n go traffic.
Fuel is 93/94 octane 99.995% of the time.
If I get the whipple stage 1-2 kit I dont' have to pay extra money for a tune and RTD flashing device since I can use my tomahawk. and that saves me like $1100.
Mods so far are stage 1 whipple, stop the hop kit, and Nitto 555G2's
