I was wondering if the holes are the same on the both versions of the spoilers?

I would like to know this too because I like the PP spoiler but not going to get one if I have to drill holes etc.

I would look for installation videos on YouTube for the specific spoilers in question. Most guys do a pretty good job of explaining what all is required or at least shows the process so you can make a decision on drill or no drill etc.

The spoiler holes should all be the same (fastback)... no drilling unless your car came without a spoiler... easier yet is the entire rear section of the trunk with the spoiler (new pull offs) from ebay as they can be had in the color of your choice.

The only time I saw people drilling holes is if the trunk had no spoiler to begin with.

Yes they are, I replaced the blade with OEM PP spoiler. Just remove 10mm bolt on each side under the trunk lid and carefully pry up as there is adhesive and a few plastic push clips.

NOTE: There are YouTube videos showing this by removing the entire trunk lid. You do not have to do that, just remove the two 10mm bolts from inside the trunk.

Do you have a link or specific seller you know of?

I can confirm that they are the same. I just replaced my blade spoiler (the whole decklid module) with the PP spoiler module. It was a takeoff from another mustang and the installation was straightforward, using all the same hardware and connection points.

I added before and after pictures of my car.
