Having a different opinion is not at all offensive to me, nor was my inclination intended to be hurtful or belittling. What? Having a different opinion is offensive to you? I know there are a lot of hateful people on this forum. And I know if you have an opinion outside of what is expected, you are subjected to bullying. So thanks for showing some restraint even though your inclination is to be hurtful and/or belittling.
It simply appears to me, and it is entirely possible that I am wrong in my assumption, that you don't have much knowledge about, or experience with, how different the living conditions can vary across the country we live in or how deciding to run an EV over a design that has proven itself for more than 100 years could mean the difference between life and death when you and your car get stranded out in the middle of nowhere and its -40F outside (could be up to -100F with windchill). I've lived in CA and lost count of how many people I met there who had never been out of their home state. It's not meant to be a dig, it's just what I've experienced.
So yeah, I have my opinion about EV's and all of their shortcomings, and you are more than welcome to have yours. I don't feel like there is any amount of debate that is going to change either of our views about them, and that is all that was intended by my initial comment. Let's just leave it at that.
