Software update 4/24/26

I received another software update this morning. I know this, because the "MyColors" changed. I may be incorrect, but it appears to set the Engine Idle Shutoff to opt in, rather than opt out. Has anyone else noticed this?

I havent received updates for a year now and my Mycolor changes sometimes. So it's not always because of an update

From a Google Search: "There is no longer a requirement for vehicles to automatically shut off the engine when stopped in traffic. The EPA has eliminated incentives for this feature, meaning it is likely to become less common in new vehicles."

Maybe the update has taken this into account and defaults to this feature being turned off. I have seen a lot of complaints, but I don't mind the shutoff.

My auto start stop never worked from day 1. Had in in 2 different ford dealerships about 4 times and no one could figure it out. Useless techs

Did not get an update. You can see it on the Ford app as well. Last update I received was 3/19/26 and my color did not change. I do use custom mode and have the auto start turned off.

There is no longer a requirement for vehicles to automatically shut off the engine when stopped in traffic

Now if Ford would give us the option to toggle off fake engine noises and ANC, as well as the stupid videos that spam the most important display of the car when changing drive modes we'd be in business. I'd also like for DRL toggle to be on or off, not just on with automatic headlights. I always turn mine off because I'm sick of my headlights coming on when it's still bright enough outside to wear sunglasses. I don't care what anyone says, "But muh LEDs they last 50,000 hours". Ya no, I see plenty of cars of different makes/models with a dead LED headlight/tail-light every day. Not a single thing on cars is designed to outlast the warranty.

I really don't like the idea of modifying things in the ecu with a program I can only "borrow" from some people in Russia who can at any given point go unresponsive for any number of reasons. Now if I could own the premium version and never have to worry about losing the ability to write data, that would be different.

I don't know if I actually have the update or not. Nothing in the settings menu or otherwise in the car shows a change. Does anybody know how to find out if I got the upgrade? Thanks.

When I click on software update on ford pass app it only asks if i want updates and when to update. Don't see where to look at newest update
