Hey all, Ive been pretty consistently been getting 4.6-5.3 0-60 times on unprepped surfaces in my 2025 10 speed 3.15. From what I've read online, thats quite a bit slower than what others have been achieving. I suspect its my tires because they are only 255mm wide and all seasons I do have a lot of trouble launching without spinning. Just wondering what others with similar setups to mine have been getting in the real world.

if they are spinning, you are not moving
Yep, spinning the tires is drifting in a straight line. I wonder if he’s tried stepping out before stepping in, you know the slip not spin out of the hole, the get to rolling before stomping thing. Anytime traction is lost seconds are added.

Yep! That's dead-stock Eco-Boost territory. Heck, even my 2019 Ranger with minor upgrades will whip those times too. I agree tires are one solution, but don't be surprised if they don't work as well as you are hoping.

It’s strange; I either get a 4.5 0-60 or 5 sec+. I know my car can do mid 4s but I can’t do it consistently. I’ve just chaulked it up to me not knowing how to put the power down properly. Or (hopefully not) something wrong with my engine or transmission. I’ve seen plenty of people get 3.8-3.9 second but I’m just wondering if that’s flat out impossible with the setup I’ve got with my car.

I should mention I’m using the built in acceleration timer. (I know it’s not perfect)

All seasons aren't gonna grip off the line. I assume we are talking about a GT?

LOL, Canada, eh? The cold temperatures hurt traction as well. Try again in August.
