I dont know how people feel about spacers and stud kits......i feel like at that point youre really deviating from the factory dialed in suspension which might be detrimental to your suspensions health and perhaps even unsafe. I donno
I'm of the opinion that spacers are bad. Think leverage, the unsprung weight of the wheel and tire now put more stress on the connected parts. Plus, magnifying/multiplying camber effects, perhaps?

Stud kits, made of proper grade parts that can handle the stresses, I don't see an issue with that...

My opinions, of course, worth approximately what you paid for them.

I had a 2G Mitsubishi Eclipse back in the day...combined with their weak ass OEM wheel and our winter roads...I think I bet a full set of those

I am gonna put those wheels and tires on my Dark Horse and track it!

On Mustangs, with the different width of the front and rear tracks (backspacing is 20 some odd mm different required, more on front, less on rear), guys running 10-11" wheels who want to be able to rotate tires are using spacers so that the wheels can all have the same backspacing. Leave the spacer on the front and move wheels and tires around at will. Supposedly they can get extra track days out of the tires by doing that, rotating them after every track visit.

You can see what I am talking about if you look at performance package wheels. There is more of a "dish" on the front wheels as compared to the rear wheels.

Basically, to run a square set up at the track, guys use a spacer at the front.

This is not a budget spacer bought off of Alibaba.

Our own @krisk runs a setup like this on track.

"I'm using the Steeda Trident 19x11 +53 square with a 28mm front spacer, so I can rotate front to back. The ECF can also be run backwards when dry from what I've read, although I haven't done it myself. I don't think the Steeda wheels come in a 19x11 with an offset that could be run up front without a spacer. I know Apex wheels, which are popular for track use, have both a 19x11 +52 and +26. With those you could run a square tire setup using +52 in the back and +26 in the front without a spacer, but then you would not be able to rotate front to back."

If not tracking the car, save your money... flow formed is lighter and stronger than cast wheels... that said, I have been shopping forged wheels the past couple weeks... for choice of finish/color and perhaps running on a track at some point... but the color choices  , but the prices  .

Typically, track tires are lighter. For instance, if you are using the max performance summer tire, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in the Dark Horse rear size, 315/30ZR19, it weighs 29 pounds. If you swap to Hoosier R7 track tire, 295/30ZR19 (which has an 11 inch wide tread), it weighs 4 pounds less, at 25 pounds per tire.

All season tires add another 5-6 pounds, typically, over the summer tire (see, e.g., Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 ZP in 325/30ZR19, at 35 pounds)
Though your final example with ZP rating is a run flat... which are heavier yet than the non run flat.

Don't wait for your mods to be complete. Track it now. Then you get to see whether your mods do anything on the track, and your driving will be better in this car so you will know the difference. Plus you are missing out on a lot of fun in the right here and now.

That is a good point however I'm a little hesitant until the next mod is complete. That mod is a Whipple heavy duty race heat exchanger with dual pump upgrade. I'm waiting until the car is parked for the winter to install. I'm lucky in that my Mustang is garaged all the time and only comes out when no rain is expected.

I self installed my Whipple in late spring this year. The heat exchanger and dual pumps are not that hard of an install but enough to make me procrastinate a little.

Ok so I don’t understand all these brand arguments and not a single person is even mentioning one of the OG’s…

Fikse???

I’ve run their forged multi-piece wheels on several cars I’ve owned in the past, and at an incredibly light weight they are strong, and were the definition of perfection.

Not sure many Mustang guys are going to pay near $10k on a set of wheels and tyres . Porsche owners likely be the target audience

You can get them for $5-6k which seems reasonable if you’re spending $15k on a supercharger but what do I know lol.

I’d gladly pay $2-3k more for a multi piece wheel over a single piece wheel for $3-4k per set.

I’m just saying - and you might be right- if you can’t afford $6k for wheels you really can’t afford $3-4k.

Put it on credit right? Only 800 payments of $14 per week - now it’s “affordable” 🤣

GrabberB ive got my eyes on those as well in the gloss black. theres part of me that wonders how theyre able to sell a forged wheel for so much less than some of these other brands....makes me a tad bit suspicious......almost half the price of apex's products lol

youre loving them though? no qualms?

post some pics on your rig if you get a spare minute, please!
Here are a few photos of the SVE DHP1 and misc. views. I forgot to take a close up. Sorry pics coming in a few minutes.....
