Well it took two screens and stamped them on a dash with little styling, provided buggy software with no tactile temperature controls and provides almost nothing new compared to the infotainment system of the S550.

Honestly the user experience is worse, if you would like I can give you a list of failures in capability that I could do in my S197 that is either harder or impossible in my S650.

The coyote gen 4 is a great engine, but with that said my current mustang was my 2nd choice because everything in the interior was better in 2024 Camaro. If my order would have been picked up I would have that vehicle instead of my mustang

I disagree the tech in the S650 is light years ahead of the S550

I have power windows, door locks, keyless start and a radio I even turn on once in a while … I even have apple car play …

and I have a HUD tachometer that shows up in my windshield….

I mean what else do you really need to drive your car?

if you need 10000 driving aids then learn how to drive better.

Ah yes. The S197 owner coming to the 7g forums to post opinions on a car he doesn't own. Stay classy sir.

I mean the same could be said about any performance car made in the 90's, you have a gas pedal and a break pedal, what else do you need to drive a car? They don't need power windows, keyless start, or apple car play. You're just wasting your money getting a car that has all that.

This could on for generations and generations.
You tend to forget that people enjoy convenience.

There is a reason why cars are always catching up with technology.
The younger generation does not want to be rolling down windows manually by hand anymore.

And the same idea goes for the majority of modern tech in a car.

FWIW. I wouldn't have bought an S550. The interior looks dated, and I didn't like the exterior styling.
And, If you think the infotainment system is bad, try a late model VA Group car.
The Ford is leagues ahead.

I predict your next car will be an EV. I heard the tech is great on those.

Seems like what I said went right over your head; which now makes sense why you don’t own an S650 and are on a S650 forum, trolling. But alas, I am the silly one for giving you the time of day.

I joined because I was interested in the Dark Horse and at some point will be getting my daughter a Mustang when she gets her license … EcoBoost of course …

I’m actually defending the S650 that the amount of tech is fine

your the one on here bashing your own car because not enough tech

so who is more foolish … someone on a forum board who may buy one in the next few years or someone who bought a car that they either don’t want or need more tech to drive properly?

you apparently can’t read when I said I bought the current gen instead of the Camaro since my Camaro order was not picked up, or that I specifically said my S650.

I do in fact own a 2024 GT premium PP in dark matter gray with the 401a package and active exhaust and magnaride.

So yes when I have the list of things I could do more easily in my old 15 yo GT it is a direct comparison

edit typo because phone

I read just fine. Problem is you didn't not say any of that in the post I quoted you on. Maybe it was a typo. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

No the typo was in the response to you, go reread the last sentence of what you quoted in your original reply. I believe it says “my S650”, then you left out the last paragraph where I said in context that my current mustang was my 2nd choice to the 2024 Camaro due to the interior design.

Anyway I accept your apology
