Rear vision camera (digital mirror) and HUD would be amazing to bring to Mustang. Probably packaging issues. Idk if Ford makes a HUD for any of their products. I do love it on my Camaro.
Ford has a HUD in the F-150, Super Duty, Escape, and a few of the Lincolns as well. they also have an electronic rear view mirror exclusive to the Transit

For all the bells and shiny door-to-glovebox digital screen(s), the new S650s are lacking a lot in terms of Creature Comfort Technology. Things that are missing:
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Digital Screen Rear View Mirror/regular mirror combo (the old-fashioned dimming lever is used to change between the two on my Tahoe)
  • 360° view capability
    • Native supported front facing camera
    • Native supported side cameras
    • Only one rear view camera (two are required for the Digital Screen Rear View Mirror mentioned above)
  • HUD options
  • Electronically foldable mirrors
  • Headlight Dim-on-stop (admittedly, this isn't common in the US at all, but in Japan it's everywhere (and should be mandatory on SUVs))
  • Wireless Connected Car
  • Active drive surroundings monitoring (I've only seen this in Teslas, but it's darn impressive! Not only that, it could have a very real use for racing, drifting, or at the dragstrip)
I get it that not everyone wants or needs any or every one of these - but it's a brand new premium GT and it has half the features of my now 5 year old Tahoe.
you can have all those features you just listed not needed the Mustang GT is a great car.

I'm not looking for these things on a Mustang. All these unnecessary options are just higher costs. If I want these kind of things, I'd go buy some generic looking SUV turbo 4 banger thing with all that crap tacked onto it.
right on I bought a Mustang GT because it's fun to drive

I drove my brothers car few days ago genesis g70 while it has a lot of the luxury tech in there i was missing the driving experience of my mustang and how it sounds

and actually I couldn't care about all the tech in the car the only thing that i really wanted on my mustang is front camera with sensors for parking so i don't damage the splitter but i can live without it

Quite possibly the most ignorant thread I've seen in weeks.

Your question answered itself.
Not how that works. Stop trying to talk down like you always do, you're not that guy.

Its very simple. I want as little tech in any car I buy as possible. I don't care for folding mirrors, or backup cameras, or any of that stuff.

But in the same vein, there are Hyundais currently equipped better than the current S650 with the tech package. My old girlfriends Sonata is a prime example of that.

The current S650, from Launch, was considered overpriced, and has only since gotten more expensive.

Now how is it 'ignorant' to either
A) want more tech in the tech package
of B) Want these to be less expensive.

The S650 is, in my eyes, a refreshed S550. Thats no secret to anyone. Nothing inherently wrong with that. With that being said, There is less of a diffferentiation between the S650 and the S550 than there was with the S197's facelift when it moved away from the 3V in 2010/2011. Keep in mind, that car stayed in its generation during that refresh.

So, do I want more tech in my cars? No, the opposite. But its also completely fair for some to believe that if this car is priced so exorbitantly, and it is - I'm paying 60 large for mine - then maybe it should have some of this tech.

Quite possibly the most ignorant thread I've seen in minutes.

P.S. - It DOES have some of this tech if you pay 60 large. Focus.
