I just pulled the trigger . I'll be tuned by DRP next week.
It's a flex tune right off the bat but I'm going to send him logs with 93 and with E70 just to make sure car is responding properly.
No more speed limiter , if that matters
Redline is still my only dilemma

If you can't budget headers, you probably don't want to budget valve springs down the road. 7800 is the happy spot for longterm happiness of the engine.
I like safe and headache free! lol

plenty of gen 3 Coyote seem to have gone to 8000 RPM just fine, but also Whipple's stage 2 tune supposedly increases redline to only 7800 RPM. i have no experience tuning or driving tuned vehicles, but i would say don't go over 7800 RPM. Whipple has some smart people who know what they're doing, so it's probably safe to follow in their steps, especially considering there won't be the extra load from a supercharger on the crank as well. as for that tuning company's 8500 RPM recommendation, that sounds rather reckless. i would not trust that whatsoever

Specially balanced crank, 'stronger' camshafts, forged rods/pistons...

Evolution spun their stock Dark Horse engine to 8500rpm while making well over 1300hp

You should be just fine.

I think Ford expected the DH to be driven harder, hence the forged conrods.
And, HP = torque x revs / 5252, higher revs equal more HP given the same torque output.
I don't think valve float is a factor anymore in modern valve trains. It must happen at extreme rpm,
some of the exotic hypercars are pulling up to 10K rpm, and Gordon Murra's T50 goes to 11, 500.

I don't agree with this.

Valvetrain stability is the goal, not just avoiding float.

You may not have contradicted the second sendtence, but I still disagree that float isn't a moden car issue.
