Just curious to know how many of you use the rev match feature on their manuals if you have it. I've been driving manuals my entire driving life (I'm 72) and certainly don't need it but it does sound cool most of the time when I'm "in the mood". But at other times I wonder if it's annoying to nearby drivers. It's as if I'm a wanna be kid again type grandpa. I can't decide if I want to use it all the time or not. What do you do?

Love it. Also I think when it' s on... you can take off from a stop light without touching the gas pedal... as you let the clutch out, the car is automatically giving it gas. Cool.

Hated it! Turned it off immediately. I’ve been driving manual since 1976, so why do I need help? I’ll probably turn it on when I decide to teach my granddaughter just to help her get started. None of my kids ever learned. My mother said there shouldn’t be any car in your driveway you don’t know how to drive. Good advice, I think.

Like you, I am well into my 70's and have been driving MT for about five decades now, so heel-toe downshifts were second nature to me. So, having this auto-rev was a little bothersome at first. I never found out how to disable it, so just lived with it and now I am fine with it. You can get a little rambunctious with it if you try to drop two gears, but if you do downshifts reasonably, the sound bite isn't too bad. I turned the feature off in my two MT C7 Vettes, but it seems OK now in the Mustang. Each to his own, but MT is always preferable to me, regardless of auto-rev, etc!

I turned it off because I don't always immediately choose a gear. Also, I double clutch sometimes to get everything in sync.

I have not driven the car with it off. I absolutely love it. I leave the track exhaust on 27/7, only drive the car on nice days with the widows down. The motor is my sound track, I rarely even have the radio on.

I do both. Is usually my star button thing to activate quickly. One benefit of it is that panic rev warning if you ever accidentally went towards the wrong gear in a downshift before letting clutch fully out

Go to features in your track apps, select rev match, that turns it off.
