I've never liked the constant GPS updating on the far right side of the screen. Most of my drives are well known, or I'm trying to get lost and enjoy the ride like it's 1996.

I went to turn on my wife's ventilated seat, and I missed. To my surprise, the Nav screen changed to something else. I know I should have read the hundreds of pages of the manual before I drove, but this was a nice surprise to me and I wanted to share with anyone else who wants to know. I don't care about the MPG, but I'd rather see that then an incessantly-updating map that I don't need. I think this is much less distracting.

Sorry for the crooked photo and the pony reflection from my Wind Restrictor. The daytime photos looked much worse.

OK waitaminute…I I didn’t know this. 😳

So you accidentally tapped the Nav screen itself and it changed to another screen?

I have read the manual pretty thoroughly and never saw this was a possibility. I never thought to touch the nav screen….šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

As a matter of fact, I just looked through the digital manual just now looking for anywhere it says I can change the nav screen to something else. Couldn’t find it.

Man I love this forum!

Yup! I learn a lot here and bought some upgrades too, none more important than the wheel wheel hole covers (Thanks Hein).

Just swipe at the map vertically (like switching heated seat to ventilated) and scroll through the options. Enjoy!

The manual blows dude. There is sooo much stuff that isnt covered.

You know you can set it to 3 windows by shrinking the main screen right?

Remind me how to do that. I never did do it.

I don't mean to jump ship here, but I'm sort of surprised to see anyone still subscribing to SiriusXM. I am aware of their content, but I'm much more aware of their cost-benefit scenario too. For me, there are a ton of less-costly streaming content.

I'll have to try the 3 screen view, but I will probably stick with what I have. Thanks!

I bought a lifetime subscription to XM radio in 2007 for $500 and transferred it twice to new cars, so I am happy with my value! I don't pay for or want unlimited cell data so this is great for me in and out of the car.

Oh man I love discovering new features! This is awesome!

Wait….…that’s how you switch from heated to ventilated seats?!? 😳

I just looked in the manual, and nowhere does it say you can do that. Wow the manual BLOWS! 🤬

Thanks for discovering all this! How did you know about swiping the seat icon to change from heated to ventilated? Was it in the manual and I missed it?

No…I did not. OK now my mind is blown…. 🤯 Wow the manual sucks!

I set SXM to every possible station I would like, and they constantly play every song I have heard 1,000 times. Just yesterday, they had the nerve to play Thorogood’s Bad to the Bone….my wife and I looked at each other and said at the same time ā€œAnything but George Thorogoodā€. sure he was OK at the time, but FM radio beat his songs to death.

I get way more enjoyment playing my massive playlist off my phone. Songs XM would never play.

I think the only reason I still sub to SXM is I’d hate looking at the blank channe

OK criticism aside, that’s a great deal! Paid for itself years ago!

I'd love to tap the seat icon and have it go right to ventilated setting 3. My GT is stored all winter so I have no use for heated seats, but that's the default. I tap the icon, it goes to heat 3, then I use the slider to drag it down to ventilated 3. If there's a better way let me know.

This might be editable with FORScan but I have neither the tools nor proficiency to do it. If it's not already an option or in a future software update, this is it for me.

I can't even believe i'm reading this. There's like little tabs on the right sides that shows you could have four different screens. I usually have wayze or map quest from android auto on the main screen. And then Sirius xm on the right to see what songs are on. Hope u know unless you have the android auto or the apple car play on the main screen you cant use the speech to text and wont show u your messages if u have the android auto or carplay connected but not on main screen

C’mon, go easy on us…lol….….There’s a LOT of information displayed on these screens. It is easy to miss those tabs. I didn’t even notice the tabs until you just mentioned them and I look up a pic of the screen while sitting here on my ipad.

I’m willing to bet there’s at least one feature you have yet to discover in your car…lol. You have to admit…there’s a LOT going on here!

Maybe you are used to modern car tech, but I am coming directly from a 17 year old Mustang GT that didn’t even have Bluetooth! It used to be like,…start the car, release parking brake, and go. Now I have 5 different Drive modes to select (including custom)

BTW: I thought I was thorough getting to know this car. I read the entire manual, and went through every menu option and setting. I just missed those little screen tabs on the right and knowing what quick swiping can do.

The quarter screen (far right when split arrow is activated) will also change with swipe up and down and will swap with the larger portion if you tap too long (as in if nav is main and radio is in the right long tap will swap positions)

Next best option I have found is touch the seat icon, then touch the cold side right next to where my finger was. Less movement that way. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
