Remote Rev on non-AE Eco?

Has anyone here tried enabling remote rev on their non-AE ecoboost? I’d try it myself but programming the PCM seems more risky than programming the other modules in the car.

If y’all did, did it actually work/does it sound half decent? I don’t want it to sound like a fart cannon when I show it off to the car guys 🧍‍

I had a 2015 Eco with Ford performance intake and tune. There was nothing good about revving that motor

I agree, and yes it works on the Premium version. But why? I wouldn't call it what you did, however it does burble a bit if you like those sort of things.
