There is nothing in the car world to compare to a drive with the top down, engine roaring, rowing your own gears, on a beautiful summer night. It's a joy!

No regrets at all here. I absolutely love my GT Convertible. But this is my first Mustang so I don't have much to compare to. But to me it has exceeded all my expectations. I totally love it.
I went from an S550 Ecoboost Coupe to an S650 Ecoboost Convertible (with PP & Magneride), the refinement on the S650 convertibles is amazing. Top down never gets old, its why motorcycles are fun regardless of if they're 250cc or 1000cc.

I went from an 03 GT vert Centennial (basically a badged premium) to my 2024 GT Premium 401a and I love it. The vert was fun, but even living in NY with seasons, as time went on I wasn't opening the top as much as I did initially. I do agree with others who say there is nothing like driving on a hot summer evening with the top down. It's truly exhilarating and tons of fun. This time I went coupe and I am extremely happy. No regrets and every time I drive the car it puts a smile on my face. I plan on remaining stock with this one.

I had a hard wreck on my touring motorcycle in December of 2014 so a year and a half later I thought I would try owning my first convertible. I found a clean 08 GT/CS and found I really liked having a convertible. Late June of 22 a careless driver blew a red light t-boned and totaled the 08. If I had seen a 2022 or 23 Mustang convertible on a lot I would have probably bought one but the pandemic messed up a lot of car availability. Ordered my 24 GT convertible with about everything except the Recaros took delivery late September 23 and so far zero regrets. The car makes me smile and it gets lots of compliments!

Thanks for saying what I meant to say. I find myself taking my eyes off the road way more than I should when adjusting the controls, particularly the heat and AC controls. It just doesn't seem natural to me, but I'm in my mid 70's. I think the younger folks adapt to those things much faster.
I totally agree with you about the heat and AC control screen. I keep hoping that maybe a software update in the future could improve the interface and make the icon buttons larger as my fingers are bigger then the icons. Hey, if Ford can give us different dashboards maybe they can improve the silly touch screen AC/Heat controls. Maybe moving all the buttons on top of the screen would help with eyes off the road issue or just add complete voice control for it.

If you are coming from a 2014 or older....I think the S650 is a big leap forward....but outside of the dash (which is a pro or con depending on opinion) I dont think its a big enough change to justify a change....which doesnt mean the S650 is bad...it just doesnt move the needle for me vs. the 550 .....

I look at it as the 69 vs the 70 Mustang or the 67 vs. the 68 - some definite tweaks but some people are going to prefer the 69 - some the 70 - but they are kind of the same car.....

Do you like analog gauges? Do you like screens? Do you like the lines of the S650 better? Do you like the lines of the S550 better? all personal opinion....its not like the jump from the A6 to the A10 from 17 to 18....
To be honest I truly feel like going from my 15 GT to the 24 GT is a downgrade. The cluster is a POS, it never saves the information screen correctly the mustang status screen would never save, and the shift indicator reset itself everytime. Only the fanboys would think the 650 is better than 550.

I've been following along with your posts as I was looking to see if there was any substance behind the negativity. Every thread (with the exception of the key fob one) is about some problem or deficiency with your S650.

If you truly are a car enthusiest then I recommend you sell your S650 and go and get yourself a S550 (maybe even a 2015 since that is the constant comparison), do it up exactly like the previous one you totalled, and call it a day.

It's not a question of being a fanboi or not a fanboi but this is clearly not the car for you. End of story. Posting constantly about it isn't going to make it any better or unlock some secret cheat codes.

Agreed. If you're not happy with your car, then maybe it's not the right fit.

I had a 2018 coupe and now have a 2024 convertible. Everything about my new car feels like a substantial upgrade. I've gone out driving backroads every night the past week. But I'm also a motorcyclist and enthusiast driver, I'm not phased by passing a semi top-down at 85 mph, or freaking out over nonsensical complaints like "cowl shake". I would encourage people who haven't tried the convertible to rent one for a weekend, you'll know if you're about it fairly quickly.

You’re absolutely entitled to your opinion. If you don’t like the S650, then you should sell it and buy an S550. There are plenty of people who prefer the S550, but that doesn’t mean the ones who prefer the S650 are wrong, deluded or fanboys. I had an S550 and now an S650, and I would take the S650 any day of the week over the S550!

Bottom line is get what you like and realize different people like different things, but that doesn’t make one right and one wrong.

I'm confused, why is everyone trying to give life lesson when I'm just asking how people feels about the car?

Because you’re not just complaining about the car. You’re intentionally insulting people who like the S650. I’m not saying you’re wrong to dislike the S650 or complain about the features you dislike; just understand that is just your opinion, not an undisputed fact about which only fanboys would disagree.

Fanboys are frequently portrayed as "angry nerds", over-aggressive, derogatory, and protective of the object of their obsession, or as bespectacled, geekoid, obsessive fans. 🤔

I haven't taken delivery of the DH until later this week so "known issues" aren't known to me (yet). I tried to look at things from a neutral perspective however your comment is asinine and basically removes any credibility you may have had and certainly removes any empathy I may have felt for your experiences.

You are dimissed, Troll.

Fixed that for you:

I'm sorry for [whining about the] s650 with [personal complaints]
You're asking people to validate your negative opinions, and getting angry when they disagree. I'm confused how this will solve your problem of owning a car you dislike.
