Wow that's nice. Can't believe how crappy the center console is. Even my 2020 40k jeep has some nicer interior accessories than my 55k mustang. The mustang has beautiful displays but really plain interior in some areas.

No there is like hard sponge for both sides that is attached to the piece to hold in place without rattling and not damaging the chrome

Totally secure friction fit. You actually have to force them in a bit.

Did this too. Compared to something like a Honda there are not many storage options on the Mustang so this is a must do!

I like the center console but don't really need / want the door "cups" did not see an option for just the center console. Would hate to just trash them. Anyone know if there is an I a missing it?

Wish I’d seen the console shelf along with the door pockets…….just ordered the console tray separately and had to pay more when ordered alone…..oh well….
