They do have to add support for the platform. But beyond that, you know what the modules are for, and you know what most of the As-Built values do. What takes the most time is the trial and error of manual discovery to figure out what change needs to be made to get to a desired end result. Once someone confirms something, they add it to the spreadsheet and then others just pick and choose from the "known" changes.
