Is this oil filter ok for my s650 gt ? I have a bad feeling about it

Hello everyone
The dealership installed oil filter for my gt
They said it replaced fl500s and it isn’t available anymore
The new filter according to the dealership is fl2133 but it isn’t mentioned in the maintenance provided by Ford
Here are some pictures
I tried to ask Ford through X to make sure whats going on ! But like usual no answer except their recommendation to talk to dealership in my country

Yea thats why I am concerned about it
It’s not expensive but very important for the engine and dealership keeps repeating the same every time(without evidence just words)

If you search both part numbers a bunch of pages will show up selling the filter saying it's a replacement for FL500S

You mean fl2133 is truly a replacement for fl500s ?

The dealer gave him another part number with the same reason.
Strange, because theFL-500S is widely available on all the internet.

Exactly even ford motorcraft official website provides fl500s
It is strange and hopefully I can find some good information

It's probably a geographical thing, I only see it listed for Saudi Arabia and Australia

Ford Parts must have it buried somewhere I just see it on reseller sites

Because it says FL-2133/ FL-500S in the title and on the picture it shows FL-2131.
Also it's sold by a company called Arabian ranches.

I can't come to the conclusion that this part number is a replacement for the FL-500S like you said just by looking at this advertisement. I would only trust information that is shared by Ford itself.

It's listed in a similar way on a hundred different sites. Pictures often don't line up on e commerce sites, often times if it's close enough they just leave it.

So it's in a computer somewhere. This place is likely using this filter every day on oil changes on these engines and who's to say it's not a perfectly compatible part?

It would be nice if there was a cross reference somewhere but good luck especially if it's not an American market part

I understand what you are trying to say, but I would not buy or use it, if I don't see Ford itself confirming this. All these websites you posted are just car part shops. I didn't say it's not compatible or you are wrong. I just say that I don't trust car part shops if they claim something about compatibility while there is nothing on Fords side to confirm this. Car part shops are not always 100% correct.

I tried Ford Au for info on fl2133 but i found nothing (still searching tbh)
And I don’t know what to use fl500s or the dealer recommendations or the new filter 2121 mentioned above
