Looking for the most power and performance-oriented intake kit for your S650 Mustang? Look no further than Whipple’s all new Crusher Intake System for the 2024-2026 Mustang GT.

This is the must-have intake for those who want the most out of their naturally-aspirated Mustang, with dyno-proven 15 RWHP / 12 ft-lbs torque gain from the intake alone and over 25RWHP gain with their tuning through HP Tuners’ RTD and Whipple’s Calibration.

Plus, with Whipple’s Calibration, you’ll see better transmission shift points and a higher rev. limit for a more useful powerband.

Can I use my Steeda high flow filters on this kit to save $100 or are they to small to fit on?
Are they Oiled or Dry Filters that come with kit?

Ok, 1 thing here. With the new intake, the air filter is open to the room with the hood open. If the hood was closed you wouldn't get those results. This video is not a fair comparison.

The filters that come with the kit are going to be oiled. Unfortunately, the Steeda ones, or any other brand filter can not be used. This induction system is designed to only be able to use the Whipple filters. Let us know if you have any other questions, or if we can help get you set up with one. Dont forget about our sitewide 10% off discount code LABOR at checkout!

Ok, makes sense. Out of curiosity, why is there an option for no filters included then?

You can indeed order them without the filters. There's a dropdown menu to choose "No Filters" and it deducts $100 from the kit.

Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

My question is why would you order without if you have to use their filters?

I'm not really sure on that but can check on it and reply when I have an answer.

We did our best to make it a fair comparison. Since the baseline had the hood open we chose to do the same with the Whipple crusher intake.

Whatever u do, don’t order direct from Whipple. They sent me the wrong kit and I wasted hours installing it before they finally resent me new parts. I’ll never attempt mods myself again. It was a frustrating, disappointing experience. Oh, they did send me 2 shirts that don’t fit.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately mistakes happen. From what you said though Whipple did right by getting you the correct parts and sent a few shirts. That's a win in my opinion.

I agree. Why not do the base dyno and after intake install dyno with the hood closed? That would also be a fair comparison. I'm guessing the numbers are lower with the hood closed.

Yes, but the stock air filter doesn't have an open top and this one does. If you had removed the top from the stock filter and left the hood open then that would have been fair. This way it just looks like you are trying skew your numbers. That's not very honest of a test.

They could have told me to hold off on the install because the components are different sizes. It’s a lesson. Leave the car alone and drive it.
