All cars are drive-by-wire now. I'm not sure the fact that it was an electric vehicle matters much in that particular case.

The brakes have a hydraulic override if you press hard enough, and he showed no sighs of attempting to turn that wheel.

Just this morning, I got my MSN news feed saying hurricane Erin is heading towards the East Coast and a map showing in yellow all the states in the East coast are going to be hit. Anyone who watches the news knows it’s going to turn back out to sea before hitting the US.
