The people at Car and Driver initially leaked a render based on the 2024 Mustang’s CAD for the “new” 2015 Mustang on the cover of C&D’s November 2012 issue?
To be completely honest, at the time, in 2012, the design hadn’t been finalized but narrowed down into 3 to 5 designs. Three of those designs ended up the 2015, 2018 and 2024. Some unused CAD was incorporated into the Roush and Steeda designs.
