All Aluminium body should save some weight for hybird, battery might be lighter and more powerful

In addition to this, the 700 new jobs were added specifically for electrification/autonomous vehicles. The CAFE regulations and market competition drove this decision in conjunction with promises of lower tax rates. Nothing more, nothing less.

The 3.5 TT already makes V8 power WITHOUT any hybrid tech. I think that tells you it WON'T be that engine.

You realize Ford made the decision to build a hybrid Mustang probably years ago, correct? There is a lot of engineering that goes into determining the feasibility of new vehicles.

Hell they probably already started round tables on the Hybrid Mustang before the S550 was launched. With big businesses, the work never stops, projects over lapse each other, risk and analysis happens YEARS before it's even mentioned to the public.
