Not bad for an almost 500hp car. Highway cruising including some spirited driving going around slow rollers. Darn, my POS Chrysler T&C 3.6l could barely get 22 mpg on a good day. FWIW I get about 19-20 mpg around town in the Mustang. I'm in Sport Mode with Track exhaust Activated. BTW what does that pic of the car on the left side of the screen under the tach mean?

I'm 14.5 at 3,000 miles.

Do you have your lane management system turned on? If you start to lean one way out the other, does the yellow bar show up on whatever side of the car? I think that's it, but I believe I've got mine turned off

14.5?! I’m at 16.3 and thought I was hard on mine. Not alot of highway driving, and she drinks gas when I’m on it.

When I drive it like I stole it, I too get about 18 mpg. Never below 15 mpg though.

@steveo1960 that’s where you see the adaptive cruise control and lane keeping info. It graphically shows you the “padding” between you and the car in front of you, and between you and the lines of your lane. If all that is off, the little Mustang is still there.

In town and/or highway mileage figures are subjective at best, due to the large number of variables. Even the EPA figures aren't real-world! Things like auto vs. manual, air on/air off, mode settings, you name it. If your mileage is low, quit smashing the go pedal! If your mileage is good, congratulate yourself.

I just have to add... Running around town in track and drag modes, especially in suburbia, just because you like the exhaust note, isn't being friendly to your neighbors or your neighborhood. Or yourself!

Yep, never on the highway and a manual with 3.73's. I'm not eco friendly when I drive it 😁

My GT with 3:15 gears and A-10 has been showing between 19 and 21 mpg during the last tank of fuel. I've have been driving around town like "GRANDPA" since the car now has only 773 miles on it. I'm sure that if I get into it, I'll lose some MPG'S! So far so good!

The gas mileage on my 2024 is anywhere between 22 to 26 mpg on the highway. Anything above 26 is exceptionally good as far as I'm concerned.

However, you don't buy a Mustang for the gas mileage!

So yes, the lane assist was set on the lowest setting so that explains the icon. Thank you folks! Of course I don't buy a Mustang for gas mileage, I'm just impressed at how good the mileage really is in real life. My screen shot was highway, no traffic although pic was taken right after I exited the highway and was stopped at the first light off the exit.

with 773 miles, you are not doing your car any favors
driving like that. they run the way they are broken in. I hope you have made many runs up to redline in several gears more than once. If not, don't be surprsed if you get outrun by other S650's. Not saying you should abuse it, but you have to exercise all it's capabilities to maximize future performance.
