if you have the Ford App loaded, at some point, you might see the windshield washer fluid level as ‘Good’ . This was the first sign for me that the car was connected and moving down the line. Kinda like its first heartbeat!….

If using a computer, select one of the links above.

In the first, you can enter an order number. In the second, you click on the person icon (upper-right), create an account or login, then search.

If using a cell phone, in the phone's app store, search, "Ford". There should be a listing for a Ford Pass App.

For both the Ford site and the app, you use the same username and password. It's the same account.

Ford's IT systems are somewhat discombobulated. They are not 100% accurate all the time. You might log in one day and see in-production. Next day, it tells you the car shipped three days before. It depends. It's OK. It's not FedEx.

If you have an attentive salesperson, they'll be sending you updates on status. Once shipped, they can let you know once the car passes through any of the major waypoints.

Vehicles do not ship in a linear fashion. The shippers move when the rail cars and trucks are full. You might wait two days at Flat Rock. Or three weeks. You might haul to within 100 miles of the dealer, only to sit again for an undetermined amount of time.

Once the vehicle arrives, the dealer will be needing one to two days for a Pre-Delivery Inspection.

I b ordered my GT convertible in Jan, with production the week of 4/13. Yesterday I received the same email as you indicating car is in production now.

We have one on order since late November and it’s now on the way to us in Oklahoma. We’re expecting in another week. It will be my wife’s 7th or 8th Mustang.

This will be my 3rd GT Convertible with a manual transmission

Appears it is on hold and has been for over week. Unofficially I was told there is a shortage of the ABS component and putting them on hold until more arrive. Appears there was a semi-conductor componet shortage at the factory that assembles the ABS for Ford. Support to get more in on 13 April. Thats all I know.

I received an update from Ford...car was built today & is, apparently, waiting for a train ride to California.

Based on Ford's estimate, should be here in mid-May a little over 4mos from order to delivery
