In Production progression

Does anyone know how long the car stays in the body shop and what the next steps are after it leaves that part? I remember seeing a post about this earlier this year but I am unable to find that post unfortunately.

I'd like to know this answer too. Mine says production week of 10/12 and that's the last I heard.

You have to have the quickest built and ship ever. But im wondering is it shipped meaning on its way to the dealership or shipped meaning it has been released to the rail yard.

I'm one day behind you. Hoping for shipping notification next week. Once it ships any rough ideas how long it takes to arrive at the dealer? I'm guessing 3-4 weeks, but that's a guess.

No kidding! From what I understand when you get a date under Built then that means it's ready for shipment/waiting for pickup and when you get a date under Shipped then it's been picked up and on the way.

You guys are all a step or two ahead of me. I’m in production purgatory as coined in an earlier thread. I got my “in production” update on 9/29 but still don’t have a date by that check box. Last update I got from my dealer is an approximate ship date of 11/18. I plan on calling Ford Marketing phone number as suggested by chat rep on Friday to see if someone can tell me what is delaying my build.

Mine says convoy on the window sticker, but I would think it's going by rail given the distance I am from FRAP. First time special ordering so who knows.

I would expect you to go by rail also since we both in GA. Mine is going by rail lol. However, I saw someone last week going by convoy and they stay in Florida. You will get your car early congrats!
