Hate hearing this like it's such a positive thing. Those 4.6's were dogs when they came out. Laughed at by the Chevy guys. And then the EB guys act like they are so superior to the 3V guys when they are basically the same speed
The Camaro V6 owners always talked about this when the 3800 V6 came out (1996?). 200hp! More power than the 1980's 305 V8. Big deal, those cars sucked when they came out and everyone knew it!
We put a 289 Hi-Po into a Fox body Mustang back in the early 1990s. I guarantee you that it wasn't the same as the 289 in your '65.Im pretty sure my 22 F250 Powerstroke could take a 65 Mustang with the original 289 lol
wAY tttttto gooo @Upacurb. i SPIt cofFEE all ovvvvver my kkkkeyboaard from THat one.I was thinking about an EcoBoost. My car would look and drive fantastic and I would get a lot of compliments and people will often ask if it's a dark horse. I don't know if I could have got a DH last year which I doubt and if I did it probably would have been $60K more. I have 315 HP vs 500 and the tuning you get with the PP. So that's why I don't get the DH, enlighten me. I mean most people think our cars look the same.
sorry I had to lol
I made the mistake of driving one after getting my GT. I still love the GT but man the way that Camaro canyon carves is something else. Had I driven that first....I had a lightly modified 2017 Eco-Vert. Loved it.
But you should have got a SS-1LE

Because its true They wouldn't know the difference and quite frankly don't.I've had several people jump my arse for saying basically the same thing in 6 different ways here on these very forums.
I'm just curious, what separates the enthusiasts from the wannabes?I've learned over the years as a mustang owner.....there's mustang enthusiasts and then there's mustang wannabe's.
Broken motors …I'm just curious, what separates the enthusiasts from the wannabes?
Deliberate practice.I'm just curious, what separates the enthusiasts from the wannabes?
All visual "mods" such as non functional side scoops that create drag stickers and trying to race everyone that looks like they have a fast car. Nothing wrong with adding visual distinctness to a car like all things there's a right way and the rice way.I'm just curious, what separates the enthusiasts from the wannabes?
Not unless you're making some "True Scotsman" argument about Mustangs. The difference between an enthusiast and a wannabe is the ability to control vehicles at the limits of traction.Would it be safe to say the difference between enthusiast and wannabe comes down to attitude towards the car and conduct towards it and other cars and drivers?
