Why I switched from a GT to a DH? It's Tremec. A Chinese transmission in an American car? Oh, the Tremec's made in Meheecoe Leendoe Queereedoe? At least it's made in the North American Continent.

I think if you go dark horse you have to go handling package. Otherwise just get a GT premium with the PP, minus the tremec of course. I really want to get into track days and drag strips so I went DHHP. If you just want creature comforts stick with the GT premium. You don’t get all the coolers plus the GT500 internals plus the 305/315 Trofeo RS tires with the GTPP

I just didn't see the value in spending $NZ21,000 extra for a DH. I'm sure I could get the GT handling as well for a lot less than that. And I'd miss the seats warming/cooling my butt. I've quite enjoyed that. (But not too much)

Not a track type guy. Mostly city/highway. No track package for me. Spent my money a bit more wisely. Outlaw alloyed half shafts, steeda Tri-Ax shifter. Next is Steeds stop the hop kit. The car corners great.

And if ProCharger ever releases more HOs why I'll take six of them. One for each gear. No. Six family members want them, and are itching to get them. No Whipple/Roush for us.
Nice. I went with whipple for this one and I love it so far. But this is my first power adder so I’m a novice lol

Whipple is great. Had one. But prefer normal driving in town. Then you hit 3K RPB+ you take off like off like a raped ape. Plus if the Whipple fails parts won't go into the engine,. Centrifuge fails you can still drive it. Then take it off and send to ProCharger, and be able to still drive the car. To to forget l keep the strut tower brace I paid good money for. Whipple is 160 lbs that causes the car to dip in a serious turn. But for drag it can't be beaten. Get two cars, and have both.đŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒ I'm thinking about it.

I had a beautiful ‘24 GT Premium and it was a great car.

I traded it for a ‘24 Dark Horse and it‘s almost like they’re not even built on the same planet. Very little point of comparison IMO.

If you’re comparing the two cars and even mention things like stereo, heated seats, etc. I’d say the DH would be a waste of your money. It’s a driver’s car and everything else is way secondary.

Just my $.02.
i did the same and I agree 100%. Especially upgrading to the Tremec.
