Thank you so much for the information; I've been looking for a long time for how to do this. The only problem I have is that when I turn off my car, the daytime running lights stay pink, and I don't like it. I'd like to know if you have a solution for this, or if someone could share a picture of their configuration so I can compare the values and see if something on my car is different.
I just saw something here on the forum, in another thread, regarding the pink appearance of the lights; but I think it may only apply to the dark horse lighting sequence.
If I remember correctly, it was a matter of changing the ā€˜9’ to a ā€˜7’ at the addresses that are used to turn on the welcome lighting. I didn’t cover that with my instructions, merely referred to a popular YouTube video instructing how to do it.
I don’t remember exactly which thread it was here, possibly the forscan spreadsheet one, but can look again in a day or so when I get home. My car has already been put away for a few months due to climate change so I wouldn’t be able to confirm the fix either; but I’m sure we’ll know the answer soon enough regardless!

[/CITA]
Thanks for your help, I'm really happy with the approach lights.

Check out this post regarding the correction of the pinkish colored lights:

As I suspected, it is regarding the dark horse lighting sequence and is not something that I have personally confirmed with my own car as of yet
I would say that it is definitely worth a shot and to please share the results if you do. Not because I have any reason to doubt the original poster, but simply because some things appear to work for some users but not necessarily all users!

”FUNCIONA!

I know there's been some talk about Approach Lighting in the main spreadsheet thread, but didn't see where anyone had actually gotten it to work.

If you're unfamiliar with Approach Lighting, it is simply the vehicle turning on the Welcome Lighting when the key fob has been away from the vehicle and then comes near it again. There will no longer be a need to unlock the doors with either the key fob or via the door handle to get the welcome lighting to display.

Disclaimer:
As with anything Forscan related and the multitude of different trim levels and options available on these cars, YMMV.
This is what worked for me on my 2024 Dark Horse 600A with handling package after I had previously enabled welcome lighting by following the instructions in a popular YouTube video.
My car had neither welcome lighting, nor approach lighting, enabled when I picked it up at the dealer.

APIM 7DO-09-01 xxx* xxxx xx--
IPC 720-01-01 xxxx xxxx *x--
For both of these addresses, you'll want to compare your current value with the spreadsheet and select the new value accordingly.
You want to keep all of the functions the same (enabled or disabled), except that ADCF needs to be enabled.

BCM 726-18-01 x*x* x*x* x*--
BCM 726-27-01 x*xx xxxx xx--
BCM 726-45-01 xxxx xxxx x*--
Change all the *'s to 1

Follow forscan's instructions and cycle the key after each module is written.
Once complete, you should be able to exit the vehicle, lock the doors, and walk 15 to 20ft away from it.
When you walk back towards the vehicle, the welcome lighting should come on once the key fob is detected.

Hope this works for others here on the forum!!
I just wanted to say thank you! Im new to Forscan and was a bit lost at first, but was able to succesfully get this working on my 600A! I was a bit confused on the APIM and IPC changes at first, but realized i was just looking at the current numbers and changing the ones that enable approach lighting while keeping my current configured options.

Also i was a bit confused on the BCM changes where there are -- at the end.. but i left them at 0 and it didnt cause any issues. Is that what i was supposed to do?

I also did the changes to the lighting modules HERE and also the ones that enable the tail lights as well HERE

With all of those entered and written, i enabled the welcome lighting toggle on the touchscreen (APIM).. not sure what the IPC change did exactly for the cluster, and of course the welcome lighting when getting close, the front and rear lighting flash when unlocking the vehicle and the tail lamp sweep when locking the vehicle.

If anyone needs help with the configuration on the 600A, let me know and i'd be happy to help, as it was a bit confusing to me at first and i sure didnt want to do anything wrong.

Awesome, well done... yes the last two digit are a checksum... they will change based on what values are entered on that line.
