Was able to get the boost gauge in the speedo but can’t seem to figure out how to get the gauge as an option in the auxiliary gauges

I have an issue with the stock boost reading in my EB. Yes it is there, you can read it, but just sorta. The digital flickering takes away any real information the boost level might give you. My Ranger didn't have a digital gauge like the F150s have in any case,, so I installed an analog one mounted in the coin tray atop the dash. If you know how to read boost gauges, they can tell you a lot. But digital? Forgetaboutit!

For me sometimes the boost gauge is on the auxiliary gauges sometimes it’s not..when it does show up I have it checked as one of the gauges but sometimes it’s replaced by normal VAC gauge. I haven’t been able to figure why it’s hit and miss..

I have the same issue, I tried to search the forum for answers but couldn't find any. Not sure why some days it's there and then if I change to another screen it could be gone when I go back or if I get out of car and restart it and check its gone. Wish it had boost numbers like the cluster by the speedo but that would make too much sense to have that.

😂 exactly the same for me…And I don’t really use the aux gauges but knowing it’s hit or miss it bugs the heck out of me.. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but it seems to show up more often if I start it from the Ford Pass app.. if you have an auto.

I wonder if the EB owners have the same issue or if it’s just something when you add it using FORScan….

Did you ever get this figured out? I've had it for a few days and have only seen the vacuum so far.

Once you select the gauge(s) you want, they stay put. I say this, because mine do stay put. As I said previously, they're just an indication, and not real numbers.

The Eco-Boost does over boost for a few seconds in most driving modes, but is not noticeable due to the fact the gauges are essentially unmarked (or calibrated) indicators. Even if you add an external boost gauge, there is an issue or two depending on what kind of gauge you buy.

Boost pressure gauges can tell you a lot if they're accurate. Most cheap stuff isn't. Even then, you see pressure wave peaks not real boost pressures. This is always the case, especially when long runs of tubing are used. Electronic boost controls aren't any better in this regard. And wouldn't it be nice if we had a way to graph the boost curves?

Lastly, you can buy a kit of sorts to install in an existing manifold line which works with all Eco-Boosts. Whether it works on a Whipple-equipped V8 is unknown to me.

I have a V8 whipple supercharged, my tuner added the boost gauge on the main screen with forescan and I noticed on my own the auxiliary gauge one day but it never stays when u save it and is usually gone next start up. Must be some weird glitch

I'm in the same boat; Whippled 5.0. The gauge is more of a cool factor than a usable one. With the SC, it'd just be cool to see it articulate between vacuum and boost.

Was hoping someone had figured out why it wasn't working all the time on the center aux gauges. Works great on the main screen though.
