I always lock it from the fob. Yeah yeah yeah I know we have the door finger lock but I am old school.

I also touch the door handle and listen for the "click". I would like the auto lock. My understanding is that it can only be enabled (currently) via FORScan.
Walk Away Lock and Walk Away Lock Audible Feedback can currently only be enabled/disabled via FORScan.

FOB, I prefer knowing I engaged the system myself
With Walk Away Lock Audible Feedback, the vehicle isn't going to honk the horn without actually locking the doors.

I think old school would be using a key in the door or pressing down on the lock lever on the door, but these cars don't have that option. I'd say you're still 21st century using the lock button on the fob.

'Old school' to a young whippersnapper could be 2001 to an old fogey. 😆

I just touch the door handle to lock the car, or I use the fob. Guess I'm OCD, but I like to know for certain the car is secure before I just walk away.
Brian,
If I touch the door handle my car will unlock before I walk away. Now, I walk far enough away and use the FOB to make sure it doesn't unlock and I can hear it lock. Glenn

I'm not really sure I understand what you're saying. On my car, I just touch the three lines on top of the door handle. The car locks audibly (can hear the door lock actuators engage) and the lights flash. The car does not then unlock spontaneously as I walk away. The car stays locked. Is your car then unlocking itself after you touch the lines on the handle and have begun walking away?

You can both lock and unlock the car (with fob in range) by touching the handle.

Touch it on the INSIDE of the handle (like you are opening the door) and a locked vehicle will unlock.

When leaving the vehicle, touch the TOP of the handle (mine actually has a small icon of a padlock on top of the handle - sounds like @BrianJ77 has three lines on his) with a single finger, and it will lock the vehicle.

I wish it did the horn thing when locking with the handle button. It's hard to hear the click or see the red light in a lot of situations.

Three lines or whatever is on top. Is it one line? Hell, I can't remember!
