Does anyone know how to set quiet mode 24/7? I have it activated from 8A to 8P. But a few times it just went into normal exhaust. Could there be a computer glitch form the software updates?

When the car first starts the exhaust is pretty much open for about 30 seconds. If you have quiet mode programmed for that time it will go to quiet mode after about 30 seconds. I have quiet mode programmed into the FAVORITE button, that way I can put it in quiet or take it out with the touch of the button.

Updates usually resets a few things. Just reset your quiet mode again.

Hello sir, quiet mode for me activates right away from setting it. Car initial start up on normal but immediately closes the valves.

as others said use the favorite button or
make it in your custom mode so all you have to do is hit up on the steering wheel

thats what i do get in car hit start without foot on break plug phone in and junk go in to my custom mode then start
but mine is always set to track mode for exhaust and sport for everything else.

This is false. It starts in quiet mode and doesn't start in normal for 30 seconds. If u start in normal u will 100% hear the difference. I noticed if I have quiet mode on 24/7 if I take it out of quiet while driving and shut it off for gas or something it will start in normal instead of quiet mode. Thats the only glitch I've noticed in mine is taking it out of quiet manually and after a restart shortly after shutting off it can stay in normal.

The exhaust is not all the way open on cold start up. The valves do not open or close after 30 seconds, unless you change the modes.

And while it's not a huge difference, quiet mode is quieter than normal start up.

Well, I guess mine must be “special”! Car in normal mode and normal exhaust.

When I start the car cold engine the exhaust is very loud for about 30 seconds. Then it seems to go to the normal exhaust mode. Perhaps it is just the increased revs for that time, but sure seems like the exhaust changes. If I start somewhere that this is too loud, I hit my FAVORITE button (programmed for QUIET exhaust) and it immediately goes to quiet mode. And, it’s all fine with me.

I’ll actually watch it closer next time I’m out.

Coyotes are very loud on cold start up. It doesnt have anything to do with the active exhaust.

Go stand behind your car and watch the valves next time you do a remote start.
